So when Benicio has Guillermo in the interrogation room and he brings in a 5gal jug of water.

He promises to show him what hell is in yankee land.

As the scene fades out the camera focuses on the dry drain & unopened jug of water... But you here Guillermo grunting in pain.

    What Benicio do to Guillermo?

I thought it was something ? and sinister but water boarding seems more likely.
Smh at me drawing that conclusion and bcotton making sense of it.

I didnt even think of it being anything ? until i Googled "Benicio Sicario interrogation room" and all kinds of results popped up about it alluding to ? .

One person even had a YouTube link where the cast is taking questions & they ask Benicio anout his character always invading others personal space and he made a joke about the director telling him to ? the other actors.

Then they had the scene where he sits on dudes lap in the car. If they didnt have the details of his back story i woulda guessed his character was a ? -hitman.

    Anyway ? ? .... benicio ? that fool.

Like pretty much everything else in the movie they make it seem like theyre doing one thing when they're on a next thing. They prep him for the waterboarding on camera but dude cuts the camera off when leaving the room, jug stays on the floor the entire time next to the drain with no water running down it so you know that ? was for show and benecio was finna ? dude up. Guillermo got took. Face ? or butt ? nh.

    Im confused

Benicio's character ? that guy in the interrogation scene. Anyone who's seen a few movies in their life knows how context clues work and figured this.

Then there's a pocket of ? who got off the short bus and askin questions

The positive is we finally figured out who be the dudes askin those questions u see when you google a movie ending

'So, who actually WAS Keyser Soze??! Like I get the part about the foot but...."

Man Del Toro is gonna nick that Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars. He was the Sicario (the hitman). Ironic he won his first Oscar for another film about drug trafficking (Traffic) 15 years ago

Dope film even though the current Mayor of Juarez ordered a boycott of the film saying it tarnished his tourism dollars

Emily Blunt is a fine actress and fits well in action roles. Roger Deakins killed it with the cameras

I liked the realism as well

    4/5 stars

Saw this last weekend. Best movie of 2015 even though I saw it late. Nice to see Shane from twd getting work.

I know Benicio Del Toro is the cooler character but Josh Brolin's performance was my fave. He went from likable to straight up no ? given about how Emily Blunt felt and both were equally believable.

I said it in another thread what also made this movie pop was that they humanized the characters in tandem with making it just another day.. there was no grand mission accommplished at the end it was more of a day in the life of agent/criminals/ and the people of the villages/cities living THEIR everyday life.. and the end scene crystallized that point

Yeah it was but he said the murder rates had fallen since about 2012 or some ? like that

There was also complaints about how the Mexicans were depicted in the film

It's actually the most uncompromising view of the drug trade and the US govt's real role in it to date. For that reason I do think it might be too much for some people. Particularly patriots.

The murder-rates were higher in 2012, but that city isn't safe. I lived 45 minutes from that border for a few years and was told by people from Juarez that there was nothing there for me. That if I didn't speak Spanish or have family there, then there was no reason to go.

Lots of good people from Juarez, but that ? is not a tourist destination unless you're an underage Mexican-American looking for your first taste of the night-life. @blacksamson could probably verify that.

Juarez is in the middle of the desert and it's not pretty. I just cant imagine that ? being a tourist destination.
