You guys may not think Kevin Owens is a formidable match for Brock Lesnar but Kevin Steen definitely was.
I would give it to Brock but if booked realistically it will also be closer than people would want to admit. Both guys are known for defying expectations with their abilities. -

lesnar is like the lebron james of wrestling. a man of his size, strength, power, speed, skill set. its unmatched
from 02-04 dude was killing it. he had great matches with everyone. the dude is a natural. he put on wrestling clinics with angle, benoit, guerrero
he brawled with taker and the big show
he put on entertaining matches with the rock, RVD, edge, hogan, the hardys, ric flair
60 minute iron man matches
wrestlemania main events
hell in a cell matches
first dude to vertical suplex the big show...multiple times...including off the top rope...collapsing the ring
in 7 months he faced and beat all the legends. rock, hogan, flair, taker. stone cold aint even want to see lesnar (im joking ? , dont get mad)
he's was so legit the only title vince ever put on dude was the wwe title
and that was only two years
fast forward to 2012 and he changed his entire style and hasnt lost a step. he's a straight up brawler. throwing ? around the ring like they're nothing. beating his opponents down to the point where you dont know if they're selling or legitimately ? up (cena, reigns, undertaker). and he's still putting on good-great matches. cena at extreme rules. punk at summerslam. the triple threat at the rumble. and there's more to come (his match with rollins will be great)
the only bad matches i can think of were the ones with triple h. go figure
i was certain whoever ended the streak would be a certified heel for the rest of their career. yet brock is the biggest face in the company and has been for a while (thanks to bryan being out due to injury) . we've never saw a champion get their ass beat like cena at summerslam. and it was believable because brock has that aura about him. he's a legit badass. he crosses the line between real and kayfabe every time you hear that guitar riff
i know owens had a career before wwe. i like what i've seen so far. actually a match between them would be dope imo. the sky is the limit for dude. but right now? lesnar is that dude. factor in lesnar's first stint in wwe...and im sorry yall. i dont see owens topping brock

ehh thing about brock is when he came out the gate he looked like a natural and then later u find out he may not have liked the business like that and still looked that good, DAMN. im not a huge fan of all brock matches these days tho. i really like what ko has done but havent seen much of ks, i figure his moves are just as diverse if not more so and mic work is just as good as in the indies. its hard to tell for me right now between them right now, but in terms of draw/being face of the bidness. im not sure ko can reach the level brock was on b4 the first time he left.

From what I gather Brock actually loves the biz....he just hates the schedule....thats the reason he left the first time...and he was starting to get addicted to alchohol and pills....

But better WWE legacy, sure Brock, but if I went purely techincally dpeaking like people did with the HBK, then Im going Owens, and he aint even showed us 50% of the arsonal.
Owens is the type of guy back in 2000 you would only be able to create at his stature doing what he does.
I highyly recommend putting in "Kevin Steen" in youtube, and this is coming from a huge Brock Lesnar fan. -
