Was a big fan of the first season. This season however, will backtrack in time to the 70's and center around lou solverson (molly's father ). When he was a part of the police force.

I couldn't get into the first season but the previews for season 2 look fire. Only problem is i have an irrational and unexplained hate for patrick wilson and kirsten dunst =/

yea. season 1 was over rated imo. like it was good, jus not that good. esp for all the critical acclaim and emmy nods it got. And the ending didn't have a good enough pay off imo. But its still a fun watch n I can see the potential. Plus Bill Bob killed his role.

I think the first season started off good. it channeled that same off-kilter, sardonic humor of the movie it was inspired by. but then it devolved into a run-of-the-mill thriller with a lukewarm ending. still I thought it was solid overall. and it had some great acting from both martin freeman and billy bob thornton

I got no beef with Pat Wilson, but Kirtsen Dunst sucks ass. I can't believe I watched Bring It On growing up I was deprived of porn.

    Season 1 was great.

What was that intro scene?A movie set?

I liked the premier.Glad to see dude from Breaking Bad on here

They haven't introduced a character as strong as my man Lorne, but we'll see.

LOL the Culkin character is ? .He pulled the ? that big dude so fast. This fool done killed everybody.Wow and got smashed on.

    So was that a UFO?

My guess is that the black dude who got killed got ppl who won't be happy.

Dunst is sexy. She's also dumb and insane. So you know they're gonna butcher this dude like meat.I want to see Todd from Breaking bad get active. He's an idiot though too

I need more funny midwest accents.

I guess Molly is a baby now?

It's about to be a war. They're gonna assume that other family killed their brother.

Okay some some KC family wants the other family's turf?WTF do they do anyway I wonder?Gambling

Everybody saying they improved on season 1,but I gotta see, still good start.Apparently this ends in a massacre.

Funny how the chick who was the mother in HIMYM died of cancer in HIMYM and has cancer on here

Lmao my dad was born in Luverne.

I hate Kirsten Dunst tho. I had to watch Bring It On growing up cause of AOL parental controls.

As a contrast to the season premier last week, this episode was more of a slow burn. but it was still good. theyre pretty much positioning the pieces that will undoubtedly intersect later on. like with rye. both the Gerhardt brothers and the crime syndicate from Kansas city are looking for him for different reasons. I'm sure they will cross paths in their journey

The scene when Ed was covering up his tracks by cleaning up every trace of blood reminds me of a particular scene in blood simple (coens fans know which one I'm alluding to). also the meat grinder is somewhat a parallel to the wood chipper in the film

Also, I wonder if the UFO will play a larger role in upcoming episodes? after research, I found out that the theme of the closing song is about an alien invasion. and historically there was also a sighting of a UFO in Minnesota during 1979 which is the same time the show takes place

i think bokeem woodbine's character has the potential of being this season's equivalent of malvo. dude is menacing and unsettling at times
