i was going to say, if you child steals, use that as a teachable moment. They arent lost at that point...at least imo
On the real, my wife went to Walmart yesterday and had my boys, 10 and 4 wit her. They get back home and i can tell she aint happy..she told me to ask what happened.. they tell me they stole some Pokemon cards, the older one at that, told the little one to "go head and get some cards so you can beat me"
Now, i didnt get on them, cause she already did, but i reiterated that there will be no stealing in this house, we are not hurtin where you need to go steal somethin, and the consequences of your actions in the future i.e.punishment, groundings, jail..
I showed them this video since they got the Station.. -
