Because she is speaking as a grieving mother, and not as a citizen who wants to fulfill the rights of the public to know what kind of misconduct their public servants engage in. The families in situations like this rarely get to grieve normally. Your kid is shot 16 times and ? in your face discussing BUSINESS. Arbitrator offering you 5 million dollars and telling you where to sign, lawyers everywhere. This is not a normal grieving process. Typically, the family just wants the situation to be over, but releasing the video forces them to relive it, and now they have to actually SEE it, and with present day media, it will be looped throughout news cycles, documentaries, montages, YouTube collages, Facebook postings, Instagram snapshots. He is no longer their child who was murdered tragically, but a martyr who belongs to "US". That is all incredibly painful and those are some shoes I never wanna walk in. -

Two seconds later, Laquan McDonald is lying on the street on his right side, and the video captures what appears to be two puffs of smoke coming from the ground near his body.

How does the angle of the dashcam change if it captures the guy falling on the ground AFTER the first shot(s) but also captures the last (visible) shot WHILE he's on the ground?
Every sentence leading up to " at which point the angle of the dash camera changes" had some level of accountability/personal action ownership, but " at which point the angle of the dash camera changes" makes it seem as so something out of everyones control just happened at the key critical moment. I wouldn't be surprised if the footage was doctored based on this (and they just don't want you to see what happened)....... -

A press conference just wrapped up w/ Rahm.. Basically the jest of the whole thing was that muderous pig was a "bad apple".. Who didn't represent all of the Chicago pigs.. Because apparently the Chicago pigs are bunch of "good" cops.. Who never ever doing anything wrong.. So if black folks in Chicago have negative opinion of the pigs.. It must something w/ them.. Because all of pigs in Chicago got new training so their just black they came into contact w/ the upmost respect sine Laquan was killed in cold blood...

Really I'm not even interested in seeing the video...I'd rather them release some sort of day-by-day itinerary of their investigation so we can see what they spent the past 13 months doing.
