Never had one. I abandoned Nintendo for Sony back in 1995. So by '96 I was so far gone into Playstation that N64 barely registered. I do look forward to playing a lot of it's library on Wii U virtual console in the future though.

One thing I was always jealous of as a Playstation owner. The sports games with 4 player multiplayer and superior game engines and those damn WCW games that ? on any wrestling game you'd find on PSX. Even the Smackdowns. Well that and the fact that N64 owners got 2 of the best Zelda games of all time as well as the best F-Zero game ever made.

I was fortunate to have both growing up. (my brother had the PS) we played the N64 waaaay more than PS1...only thing we touched the PS for was sports games and RPG's
N64 had the rest of that ? on lock

N64 also had no load times on most games

that era owning a n64 + ps1 was mandatory, good party games on the nintendo and awesome rpgs and action games on the ps1

Bought my ? 2 months after release. Most games I ever bought/stolen/borrowed for a very long time for any system. ? damn!! 64 was g.o.a.t!! So many classics on one system. First time we ever had the option to buy different color controllers. We used to unscrew the back of our colored controllers and switch it with other color controllers. I had black and red, and blue/clear colors. First time rumble technology was created. -

Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon was a slept on classic. It was an amazing, and a rare port of a culturally pure Japanese game.

Beetle Adventure Racing is slept on -
My least favorite Nintendo system.
No Metroid or RPG's or fighting games.
Star Fox 64 was not as good as the original.
MARIO 64 still doesn't feel like a MARIO game.
MK 64 battle mode and Sin & Punishment are all time favorites tho.
Majora mask was good.
So disappointing coming off SNES
