    My least favorite Nintendo system.

No Metroid or RPG's or fighting games.
Star Fox 64 was not as good as the original.
MARIO 64 still doesn't feel like a MARIO game.

MK 64 battle mode and Sin & Punishment are all time favorites tho.

    Majora mask was good.

    So disappointing coming off SNES

Flying dragon was a really fun fighting game... and yea there really wasn't any rpgs, the ones that had some were all final Fantasy tactic type games like ogre battle.

I have love for both systems especially because I'm a JRPG guy.

Shout out to Shen Mu, Mario Kart, Star Fox, and some other weird games I can't quite remember.

I kind of agree with this guy.

The SNES was king of JRPGs and Sony took over that.

Besides Shenmu, 64 was kind of a let down.

I had both, and I enjoyed the N64 for what it was worth. As soon as my lil bro got that playstation by winning some kinda Pokemon tournament or something and he learned how to download and rip the games off the net is a wrap. I never touched the 64 again. lol But Mario Kart, Madden 64, and Goldeneye was my ? .

Mario 64 felt off to me after growing up with Super Mario World and the Mario Bros series. It seem like all the good games were mostly first party on that system. It also didn't help that most games on that system were $60 and more .Good thing Blockbuster back in the day

Wanted to get a 64 cause of the Nintendo name and didn't expect PlayStation to take off but then my sis friend bought his PlayStation over with tekken 2 and I was hooked. Never got around to getting a 64 and PlayStation really started taking off

Man, mashing together all of those franchises was unheard of back then, the anticipation was killing me. Buying Nintendo power every month for the small details about the ? . Nintendo is the undisputed 1st party games GOAT.... where Sony tore them a new one was 3rd party support and graphics. But game play and innovation? been had ? on lock.

I can agree with this. back in my college days I loved getting stoned and playing this. I guess it didn't appeal to some because it didn't have the traditional Mario things like power ups(starman, mushrooms, flowers) hundreds of koopa troopers in each level etc. but it was a fun platformer. looking back the game felt like an arcade version of super Mario bros that was made by another company the same way theres an arcade version of Mario kart made by Nintendo and Namco.

I went on to enjoy other Mario games like Mario sunshine and Mario galaxy which really surprised me how much I enjoyed that game.

Lil bro had the 64, I had a PlayStation.

Playstation graphics and side like video play>>>>

    N64 games>>>>>>>>

For instance on Raw Is War, on the PlayStation, a video would pop up of a character talking ? if they wanted a rematch. On the 64 it was just the character animation saying a catch phrase and hitting a punching bag.

It took me about 8-9 years to beat Donkey Kong 64. Couldn't get that original donkey kong game requirement for ? .
