And the speakers bring up some great points on how sexist most religions are.....if society was strictly built on the rules of the major Abrahamic religions, and even Hinduism sadly, society would be a disaster zone. As it was for Blacks and many others in early American days....I also notice I'm running into more Black atheists lately, nice video

I watch a show on Show Time called The Affair, and one of the main characters was questioned, "does ? exist" and I think this is probably the best answer I've heard..
"If you think ? exists, then he does, because your faith and your actions bring his presence into the world."
It's pretty simple. It's basically a placebo, we knew that, but it's just so simply put. -

There's no proof Jesus was ever a ? , if he existed he was just a regular guy with some possible magic tricks. Plenty of atheists and agnostics are good at magic too. Has Jesus fulfilled the prophecies yet? It's been 2,000 plus years now. Jesus couldn't even beat up Roman soldiers, who kicked his ass. So how would he backhand other gods lol -

In a world like this, with its brutal and harsh history, I see no reason to believe in any kind of all powerful ? or gods. I'm agnostic, so I leave open the possibility there could be a ? but as I get older, I lean toward the belief that any gods that may have existed are dead or not as powerful as the major religions have them.
Where were these gods during the genocide and massacre of the Native Americans and aboriginals? Where were they during the Trans Atlantic slave trade? I was told growing up that ? doesn't play superman, so why the flying ? should I waste my time worshipping or believing in a powerless and impotent being? That's when I became agnostic at 16.
