    Hogan vs Michaels

I just watched this recently. It was aight. HBK ruined it on purpose which makes it even more entertaining honestly. So it was probably better than it would have been.

I watched Rock vs Goldberg last night. Man nothing memorable happened in that match at all. The crowd was even wack. They should have held off on it for Goldberg to build some momentum.

I can see just how many people were meh on Goldberg in 2003, nobody really cared. In all those big matches he never got the ovation of 98 Goldberg EVER. Dude mowed through Rock to a tepid reaction. Beat HHH for the title to a meh reaction and fans helped ruin the Lesnar match.

His run was ? and nobody was into it.

Sting vs Hollywood Hogan (Starrcade 1997)

Especially after the greatest match build up in wrestling history.

Whats some of your most disappointing dream matches?

    For me:
    1. Goldberg vs Rock. I wasn't watching wrestling at the time but I remember being in FYE and seeing the Backlash DVD cover thinking to myself "HOLY ? ? !" then I watched it and was like...meh.

    2. Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg
See above but it was WM 20 DVD.

    3. CM Punk vs Rock -Royal Rumble
Not a bad match but disappointing. I hate that finish too.

    4. HHH vs Brock Lesnar - Summerslam
It was aight but I expected SO much more. I think their other matches were better.

    5. Sting vs Kurt Angle
Not horrible but the storyline was terrible and the run-ins...just meh.

    1. Goldberg/Rock was a decent match for what it is as Rock's time as full-time guy was over with & Goldberg was just getting started in WWE. It was a far cry from another dream match that we would get a year later....

    2. Goldberg/Lesnar was an absolute shitfest from the opening bell to the end of the match. I know both guys were leaving the company but these 2 really robbed the fans from witnessing a decent match. Both guys deserve the blame here. I'm glad no titles were on the line in this because this would have been an even bigger bomb if this was a main event match. Great build-up horrible match.

    3. Rock/CM Punk good match until the predictable finish with The Shield being involved.
    4. HHH/Brock was simply 10 yrs too late just like the scheduled Hogan vs Flair title match at WM VIII. If this entire feud was done in 2002 then there would be no issue but HHH was simply getting older. Vince pushed heavily for a rematch at WM 29 where there wasn't any point in doing so then to do a steel cage blowoff at Extreme Rules was just to sell tickets. The same with WM 29.

    5. I never ? with TNA because the writing was just on the wall with that company from the beginning with all the ? decisions.

Out of all those matches in the OP, that Lesnar vs Goldberg match really had me like WTF is this? Luckily, WM 20 had Angle vs Guerrero / HHH vs HBK vs Benoit to follow up that ? of a match. Like I said, Vince better be glad that wasn't a title match because of the brand extension because the backlash would've been much worse.

He got corny once he moved to Raw. Then to this day they've yet to evolve his character. He's been the same guy since 2005. People in everyday life are constantly evolving and damn near everybody else who was around at that time that are still in WWE has evolved since 2005, except Cena.
