My mind is flighty in the morning, and I gotta get rid of these thoughts. I put em on wax in the Adhd thread from time to time, but i feel the jewels that i drop get lost in the sauce, ya dig. So this thread is gonna get blessed from time to time, stay tuned...

Yo, the Rant for today is about the Oscars and acting. Theres been alot of talk about the Oscars and really alot of the movies that get created to win an oscar, suck. Its an obvious reach, and with a nuanced profession like acting. Obvious isnt something that should be rewarded.
Take Denzel for instance, alot of people say Denzel gave a great performance in training day. Im here to tell you, no he didnt, and he shouldnt have won an Oscar for it. Denzel gave a great performance in Malcom X, and should have won an Oscar for that.
Reason being, if you seen Denzel in interviews, down to the movie characters he chooses to be. He has a flightly, quick, and witty way of thinking. His mind is the type of mind that if you tossed a puzzel on the floor and told him to put it together as fast as you can.
He could somehow convince you that his performance is based on you, so you helping him will reflect higher on you in the long run. And now you're both doing the puzzel that was meant for only him to do. He is a shifty thinker and it shows in most of the roles he does, his mannerisms and speech pattern that people can pick up on.
But Malcom X is a different thinker. Malcom X is a precise and thorough thinker. He has no need to be witty, he is clever. He is so ingrown with his beliefs he can be clever and informed on the way he disarms people. He is methodical, centered, and plans to know what you say before you say it. He studies, he disects.
Just thinks in a way that Denzel does not. Its like taking a sprinter and making him run a marathon so well that you'd think thats all he's ever known. To go from that particular thought process and be able to mimick X's so well and precise. Is a thing of mother..? ..beauty. Thats acting, folks.
Not when a narrative does all of the work and all you have to be is a set piece like will smith in concusion. Thats not acting, thats a lazy and obvious reach. -

Actually im on eastern time, it was made at 8am. Thought of it and wrote it in 10 minutes, while eating my breakfest at work. -

Aye yo..people are saying Hilary won in Iowa, but thats not true. Yes she won the votes to beat Bernie Sanders, but she didnt win. What Hilary won are the votes of life long Democrats that dont believe Bernie can win.
Bernie won the votes of the youth, or the dreaming liberals, or the people who believe in liberal ideals. All this time in politics on "the grand stage" and Hilary still cant connect to that. Even with spending time around Obama, beaten by Obama and his campaign staff. And she still is unable to do it.
So going forward if Bernie is smart, and he is. He understands that his fight is no longer against Hilary. He no longer has to campaign against her, he has to campaign against the the thought that he cant win in the general.
Now he can attack and no longer has to try not to anger women and male feminist. Now he attacks the GOP who are to busy attacking each other to attack back. This is the most perfect situation for a politician that I have ever seen.
Even for Obama and the believable push to have the first black president. He had to fight and scratch Hilary to the end. Bernie has a clear runway to be the DNCs Elect for the general.
That being said, he would be a horrible president. Much like Trump right now is the embodiment of the GOP. He himself is not, but his words and campaign are. The thought of a guy like him as far right as possible scares folks. Well Bernie really is as far left as he says. He is that guy.
He would bring damage to the Liberal cause for years to come. Even after only serving one term. He is too head strong and too far left to really get anything done. Cause tho liberals are for liberals causes. The vast majority of liberals are posers who wont show up to push public opinion when needed.
And will be quick to turn on him when he cant get things done. Even tho their own lack of support is the reason why. Sucks,..and i layout this whole vision and taking the GOP for granted because. Bernie will smoke who ever the GOP puts up. Bernie has what you cant really dismis in debates. An ablility to be clear, direct, with common sense.

Yo, you see nowadays that mental illness has become such a big issue. And as it should, it affects alot of people in their daily lives. Even is enough to bring up thoughts suicide. Often times the way we view the world just isnt the way the world really is. People can go somewhere, do the same exact thing and come away with a different idea of what happened.
And its all about how you view the world around you. Alot of people view the world around them as life, a movie that they are starring in. And some see it as life, a movie i am part of. And some see it as life, a movie i have a small role in.
For the last, those people just dont know how much of an affect they have on the world. They underestimate just how important they are to other peoples experiences. When you taken in account of the first two.
And media leaves people feeling as tho if their not something that is viewed as likable, that they arent ? . Leaves them to go to social media constantly posting memes about they might not be this but they love themselves.
People who love themselves dont constantly have to tell others. Because they feel others either know, and if they dont know, they dont care. But at the sametime theres nothing wrong with disguising your doubt. Its human, its normal, and everyone does it.
Often times that doubt can have people feeling like something is wrong with them that they cant correct. But there is no one who doesnt have doubt. That person who feels like thet arent even part of the movie, may have something the star wishes they had. Difference is that the star can handle not having it, and wanting it at the same time.
People just need to understand that you can have everything, its ok to want. But if what you want that want for, isnt obtainable with out you having that. More than likely it wont make you happy even if you get it.
Because the want, that you want, came from a want, of a have. And its that have that you dont have. And most likely dont even want.
