A ? type of gimmick.
Like if a Ahmed Johnson like wrestler came out and started squashing ? left and right, but the twist is he never gets a title shot.
He goes a year undefeated and never gets a shot at the belt. He goes and asks for one, he keeps proving himself but keeps getting pushed to the side.
Another year of that. Squashing wrestlers, and gaining a strong fanbase. Gets that Mike Tyson level fanbase with wrestling fans.
2 years in, he's in the rumble. Maybe he enters 1, 2, or 3. Lasts all the way to the end until it's just one on one and a damn good showdown that could have gone either way, but he wins. The arena goes crazy. He's headed to Wrestlemania.
Leading up to the match at mania, the white champion, does whatever he can to avoid a match with the superior challenger.
First he offers money. A lot of money
Then, he offers a title shot at a later date with money
Then he starts hitting and running. Jumping the challenger with his boys them running away.
Going in on videos degrading the challenger, just shy of saying he's inferior because he's black.
At the go home show before mania, the champion jumps the challenger with a chair, then bleeds the challenger with the chair, leaving him laying to end the show. A cowardly attack from behind. How will he answer back?
Come Mania, the two have a great back and forth match, then the challenger wins the match. The place and the iwc go crazy. A black man holds the gold to end mania. -

it's funny that i actually thought of this gimmick once when i was listening to the radio and a porn shick was in there who never did a scene with black men...and they were asking her was she racist and why wouldn't she ? black men......this was when sons of anarchy was super hot, and she said she didn't ant to ? a thug type black dude, but she'd ? the ? outta a august marks type character...and she was going on and on about dude, and i was like...that would be a dope ass wrestling gimmick...
imainge the soul burning HHH would feel if steph was checking out some ? who was relaxed on his.....

more so August marks, cuz he showed his violent side much more than stringer
august was a sophisticated goon with money while stringer was more of a schemer -

To be a blueprint you would need to have major success before at a big stage. Apollo just got here. Apollo reminds me of a shorter Cesaro that can backflip.
