What do you guys think is the best game console of all time
I can say completely objectively that my vote goes to PS2, I got three pieces of evidence to kick this discussion off on
1. Full backwards compatibility with the PS1
2. Devil May Cry, Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Grand Theft Auto 3, Jak and Faster all came out in the same year...2001
3. They didn't stop making PS2 games until 2014

For its contribution to the industry; practically savin' it when released, the many games that were genre definers etc for me its has to be NES

The 2 was a monster so much so that i almost threw that ? out the window when it ? up on me. But damn ps 1 had metal gear, ff7 twisted metal, xenogears, legend of dragoon, road rash, hmm I'm gonna say PS3 fat boy because it played all them ?

It dropped at a time when I wasn't really into games any longer just hit 18 wasn't trying to be in the house playing kids games...
It changed all that...
RE, MGS, FF7, Tomb Raider, console games weren't just for kids anymore...

Playstation 1 & 2 were WOAT based on the need for memory cards. -

It's either NES,SNES, PS, or PS2.
I could narrow it down to either NES or PS. I'm leaning towards PS. -

The reason i cant say ps2 is because game cube and Xbox pushed video games to the next level more than ps2. Without Xbox coming up with a built in HDD (for console games at a cheap price) video games would look different. Also Xbox live changed the way we played video games with our friends. As far as gamecube it had the 1st first party wireless controller (wavebird).
