why does everyone and their momma need a spinoff book?

everyone seems to have their own book, and it just keeps going.. I get it makes a lot of $ for them, but if they were to clean it up a bit and lessen comic spinoffs, wouldn't it make for better writing? just seems it gets so chaotic in having so many writers to write so much ? to all connect

I agree. Most characters shouldn't have their own books. Pointless sidekicks don't need their own books.

I think its okay if there's a story they really want to tell but just as a normal course of action I can do without alot of the pointless books.
