if credit score is the 1st thing that comes to your mind about a girl, you prolly shouldn't be marrying her anyway

I got average to below average credit, kinda fell behind on a couple things when I was young, but its in the process of being fixed so ain't no biggie to me.., now every six months i get a credit update, gotta stay on top of these type things..

You should worry if she got a steady career/job cuz credit is easier to fix then brokeness lmao

no credit is bad credit. I've never owned a credit card or took out a loan so that logic is flawed.

1.) How long into the relationship (or dating) do you ask someone what their credit score is?

2.) HOW do you ask them something like that?

1.) once you are both serious about getting engaged or married or just moving into together.

2.) I just came out and asked "how's your credit looking?" He was honest and I told him he needs to make step to getting it looking better. He was surprised in a good way because not people take that into consideration.

Let's say you gotta take out like a loan with your spouse to buy a house or finance a car or something

Both y'all history will account for that payment. So if your credit score is really good and your man's score is like horrible, y'all will get like a joint score and it will most likely be ? up.

Also if you decide to open a checking account in one name, both scores count

Credit has ruined a lot of relationships/marriages. People should take that into consideration before they get too deep.

It makes it harder for you two to get a house, car, the big stuff good credit is needed for. Once you fall for a person you don't think about ? like that though. When I got married my ? was 650 and his was 720, now my ? is over 800, so if had used that logic he would've missed out. You have to see the potential in a mate before you just write them off, no one is perfect.

But hold up If yall love each other none of that should matter right?
