The Korean Board Ratings Board is said to list a title called Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection, and if that will turn out to be true, which in most cases is, that would mean Ubisoft are preparing to make an official announcement about this collection of games and its release date, as they have done promptly in the past shortly after such info leaks have occurred.

This would make perfect sense because this year, there will be competition on the market, as Aragami, another assassin game, though more on the supernatural side, has already seen an official announcement. The last 2 games of the franchise, Unity and Syndicate have not sold that well nor were very well received by the critics and the community. The first reason for this is probably that expectations were very big in both cases. Everybody lost their mind when they found out they would get to experience the French revolution. Those who rushed to buy the game right after it was released were disappointed or even angered by the many issues and bugs in the game, as Ubisoft just didn’t have time to perfect such a huge scenario until their annually common release date in November. Those who played it some months later, when most of the issues were fixed, thought it was a great release. So, after the public opinion gave them a thumbs down for Unity, the pressure was on for Ubisoft to make up with the next release, Syndicate, which was not bad, but just failed to deliver that amazing feeling and story everybody expected.

After these 2 small disasters, they might want to go back to the roots (sort of) and bring back the most beloved assassin in the franchise, Ezio Auditore da Firenze, who was the main character in 3 Assassin’s Creed games, and players basically got to experience his whole life, from birth to death. His popularity among the assassin community was logical, as he was he was a badass with a sense of style and a way with women, who lived through the renaissance and the Borgia papacy. He was the hero in Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood and Revelations, games which will most probably be included in Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Collection. After Revelations, Ubisoft also made a short animated film named Assassin’s Creed Embers, which concluded the mentor’s story. This short release could also be included in the rumored collection, and this time, who knows, they might even turn the short movie into gameplay action.

If the rumors about the Korean Ratings Board leaks have any truth to them, we should be expecting an official statement from Ubisoft any day now.

Um, how bout the fact they have a movie dropping this year and want to capitalize on it without making a game specifically for the movie and give them time for a real full release next year?

But that's none of my business. . .

LOL how about just move on with the ? story and stop milking the franchise. You should go to the official boards and see what everybody's saying about this ? . Basically the same thing you said lol they refuse to own up to they ? . You should see what the developers are saying over there. When somebody drop some real ? they start talking about other ? and then stop posting. They should have never dropped multi player as well. People would still be playing that ? all this year. Hell, people still playing AC4 right now.
