Thats a good pitch but the thing about the Friday films is the whole movie takes place on a single friday
I like that pitch too, they could use flashbacks to show what leads up to the Friday wedding. -

the othet two were jus a bunch of goofy events loosely strung together
the latter two served their purpose, but they can't even be compared to tge one in any capacity -

My favorite shot in Friday is at the convenience store. A sign says "Black Owned" then a crusty ass Asian man pops up from behind the counter dressed all loc'd out. A gong sounds.

To make matters worse, they signed the contract with the mafia, who threatens to ? them if they don't ? each other.
