Thing is NOBODY ever took Drake ass serious since best I ever had. I never ever seen someone give him props for his raps. He's always been linked with his peers not cuz of "lyrical ability" cuz of his songs. Especially on here. . Lol at him being a lyrical rapper .

That's not true and partially irrelevent. I distinctly remember the conversations going on here leading up to Nothing Was the Same. People wanted to see if the ? could atleast shed the moist ass shell presented to us on Take Care and if he was going to actually seriously rap like back in his mixtape days.

On and off the IC, people prior to this situation were at least giving him a shot to prove himself.

You can't be that naive to think Drake the first mainstream rapper to have a ghostwriter . Especially Andre being in the game for over 20 years. You're asinine to think he never saw a rapper use one before

He's the first artist that people considered a "lyrical rapper" to have a ghostwriter

    Who considers drake lyrical? Lmao.

'Work', 'Controlla', 'One Dance' & 'Hotline Bling' (all sung not rapped) have been his biggest hits going from last year into this one and add a couple other guest features...

Why does this guy get discussed on this forum repeatedly?

Every single of his hits are his singing songs besides the first single rap songs

His hits have been conveniently sing alongs since his writer situation was exposed last year.

Before that, he was riding on several rap records from IYRTITL. Energy. Know Yourself. ect.
And I distinctly remember some Drake fans toting Back 2 Back as a hit as well. A rap beef record.

Wasnt Ceelo the problem tho? Aint he the reason why it all fell apart because he wanted to get money with the ? ?

I mean, history shows that he was the best thing since 3000, and he bounced. He did what he had to do, and now it comes back full circle, and now he down. FOH.

Cant erase what he done. He spit some nice lyrics when he was dungeon. Before he went CRAZZZZAYYYYYY...

"Just sayin, a ? done got grown, had a lil biddy ? of my own, should have known that i couldnt have shown him no betta than i was shown, sheeeeit, i still wanna hit the clubs as fresh as i could be, but really, IT WAS ALL FOR ANOTHER ? TO SEE.

You opened the door my ? . You're insulting his ability by implying it's so elementary that anyone can do it, so show and prove.

I don't really rank rappers like that so I'm not going to put a number on it. But I'll say he's got some better verses than most of the more highly rated rappers out there.

Ain't too many rappers out there spitting stuff like this:
