That's not true and partially irrelevent. I distinctly remember the conversations going on here leading up to Nothing Was the Same. People wanted to see if the ? could atleast shed the moist ass shell presented to us on Take Care and if he was going to actually seriously rap like back in his mixtape days.
On and off the IC, people prior to this situation were at least giving him a shot to prove himself. -

Before that, he was riding on several rap records from IYRTITL. Energy. Know Yourself. ect.
And I distinctly remember some Drake fans toting Back 2 Back as a hit as well. A rap beef record. -
Ceelo is the greatest rap/singer artist of all time. His skill set is prominent on both sides of the talent
