either your wife was a total freak in her younger days and is now ashamed of what she did or she is being intentionally deceptive. The latter cannot be trusted at all and the former will be an inferior mate/companion. Total openness is needed to create a strong relationship, you cannot totally know someone if they hold back something like that.
A third option is maybe she did not see what the big deal is in getting a train ran on her. Now if that is so then it means she has little respect for her body.
In all options the result should be divorce -
