Let's be clear though. Rick didn't just assault a chick. Didn't he basically kidnap the chick and hold her against her will as a sex slave for days or something crazy like that. You do something that egregious, it's going to be stuck to your name.

You make a point but if they gone call him out then they have to call out all the whites who were racist and owned slaves that they praise from history. They talk about the flag and what it represent but ignore the history of the country and the history of who wrote the national anthem. It's a two way street. Can't pick and choose. -

I can't argue with that.
I'm not saying what they did was right either. I'm just old enough to remember that for a long time before Chapelle came along, Rick was just as strongly associated with those kidnapping, torture, and sexual abuse charges as he was with his music. Like there was a time where it was typical to hear him addressed as he was in that segment. -
