It's crazy how different the audiences are..the audience in 1987 understood the gravity of the scene...the audience in 2010 apparently thought it was comedic...says a lot about folk these days... -
I'm a lil surprised Denzel did this movie honestly. He normally don't do too many "black" films. Def watching this tho.

Correct. Saw it today. Saddened that some in the crowd laughed during certain scenes. -

Watched it last night & it honestly wasn't what I was expecting. I was super hyped to see it, but found it pretty boring. The film began going downhill when Denzel started doing his wife ? . It was just a really depressing movie

Also Denzel's character reminds me of Uncle Ruckus's father. Dude blamed the man on every damn thing.
