I really have absolutely no sexual attraction to women so we don't do threesomes. I trust him completely, so all he has to do is be safe which he would be doing anyway even if he was single.
He's up front and honest with any other woman, like they know he's married and he's not going anywhere. You'd be surprised how many women that alone scares away, like they'd be cool with it if he was cheating on his wife but the complete honesty rattles them I guess.
Funny story that's kind of related, he was giving a buddy a ride home from the gym and he (the friend) was looking for his phone in the glove compartment my husband has some magnums in there. Anyway I was on the phone with him and his friend didn't realize this and was like "all I see is the rubbers" and realized I was on the phone after he said that, and he was all apologetic like he had just dry snitched on my husband. I was laughing and my husband was like she doesn't give a ? lol
I mean I can see how other people might not get our set up, but it works for us. I think my background makes it easier for me to understand that his biological urges as a man are just that, and that they have nothing to do with our love and commitment towards each other.
I'm very secure in myself and what I mean to him, so I don't feel any jealousy or threatened by any other woman. I'm not going to bind him to some unrealistic notion of monogamy that is just not natural simply because our society says that's what we should do

I haven't asked him recently, but as far as a I know it's been a while. The sentiment at the end of your post is pretty apt, him being able to do whatever wants has made him exceptionally picky actually
He be passing on hoes more than not. Now imagine this vs guys that are supposed to be strictly monogamous, when let's be real they're most likely still cheating anyway. In that situation those guys gotta take whatever opportunity presents themselves.
