Yasiin Bey and Ferrari Sheppard have announced that they will drop their debut album Dec 99th in a couple of week’s on your boy’s born-day. The album was produced over the last several months that Bey has been stuck in South Africa over a misunderstanding involving immigration documentation. Just last week, it was announced that his legal issues have been resolved and he is now allowed to leave the country, although he won’t be allowed back. He also revealed that he will be embarking on a tour which he says will be the final dates he’ll play in the US, ever.

Idk who Ferrari Sheppard is but I'm hype for some new Mos. I hope it's not a real retirement. Is Sheppard a producer?

Dam i didnt expect this all to happen so fast.
Of course i cant wait to hear the album but its still a sad moment that it may be his last. Mos doesnt seem like the type of person to ? retirement from the game like jayz master p too short did. -

I heard a single from it. Sounded unorganized and sloppy. Didnt check for anymore. -
Now he says he has 3 albums finished, including the Mannie Fresh one. Just one dropping this week.

He is doing a concert on 12/21 where he will be premiering the collab album with mannie fresh called "as promised" and also premiering a new solo album -

Nah, I'm good. BOBS, Blackstar and The Ecstatic will hafta suffice. Maybe we will be fortunate enough to hear him rap again, but I'm not holding my breath.
Sidenote: Why do the most talented of our artists insist on squandering that talent and withholding/altering their voices until they're no longer recognizable? Lupe/Mos/Kanye/Electronica for example.
But we keep getting Lil Dingy, Watergun Squirt, Polaroid Wack projects? Someone get me outta here, man. Smh.
