Wood Chair

Wood chair…..shines. Wood chair shines in the spotlight of a small dark room.
The room has company. The chair. The wood chair is not empty. The wood chair
under the spotlight is not empty. Behind the wood chair a ball bounces.
The ball is blue. Behind the wood chair a blue ball bounces. Behind the wood chair
under the spotlight a blue ball bounces in the corner of a small dark room.
In the dark a boy holds his head low and bounces the blue ball. In the chair,
in the wooden chair under the spotlight a man sits down. His hands are strapped behind
his back. His eyes have a blindfold. His legs are tied to the legs of the chair.
His legs are tied to the legs of the wooden chair under the spotlight as the boy in small dark room
with his head down bounces the blue ball. Behind the man in the chair is another man in the dark.
You cannot see him. You cannot see the man in the small dark room holding the knife
that shines in between the spotlight of the chair in the dark. The ball bounces. The blue
ball bounces. the blue ball bounces in the dark in the corner of the room
as the man with the knife partially shining in the dark stands behind
the man in the wooden chair under the spotlight. The ball stops
bouncing. The spotlight shatters in the small dark room. A footstep is taken.
The sound of something sharp cuts the air in the small dark room.
Drip. Drip. Drip. It drips familiar to the previous rhythm of the blue ball bouncing, but the opposite color.
The man in the wood chair once under the spotlight falls to the ground. His eyes have a blindfold.
His legs are tied to the chair. His neck breathes red and the knife drips. The blue ball bounces.
