Tim Scott, the sole black Republican in the Senate, read aloud some nasty tweets he has received in response to his support of Jeff Sessions for Attorney General.
Some of the pushback against Sessions includes past comments he has made on racial matters and his record on civil rights, which led to Elizabeth Warren reading Coretta Scott King?s letter against Sessions last night that resulted in her being reprimanded and made to stop talking.
But on the Senate floor today, Scott read out a series of tweets from people calling him everything from an Uncle Tom to a “house ? ,” all in reaction to his support of Sessions. The South Carolina senator added that he “left out all the ones that use the n-word.”
Scott went on to charge that Democrats engage in selective tolerance:
“The liberal left that speaks and desires for all of us to be tolerant do not want to be tolerant of anyone that disagrees with where they are coming from.”

No
He didn't personally prosecute any klansman
And worked very little with the prosecution
The case was prosecuted in state court, which is where Hays received the death penalty
On the other hand, one of Sessions signature cases was prosecuting 3 civil rights activists for helping blk elderly ppl to vote
So yea Sessions is not our friend

Maybe there are some blacks who are intolerant of anyone who has a different viewpoint -- well, not 'maybe'; such people do exist -- but for the most part it's just certain issues where you'll that find we are intolerant of different points of view. Like there are just certain issues where disagreement crosses the line. And I can see why many would regard supporting Sessions as crossing that line.

Session was said to been told that one man is a race traitor session said maybe he has apathy for race...he voted to confirm eric holder the first black attorney general.....an... While prosecuting two known members of the KKK for the brutal murder of a 19-year-old black man in the early '80s, Sessions — who was a U.S. Attorney at the time — reportedly “insisted on the death penalty,” though the maximum sentence for the crime was life in prison.
Sessions was successful in that bid, and Henry Francis Hays was put to death in 1997. The KKK was also ordered to pay $7 million as a result of the trial, a verdict that was responsible for “financially destroying the United Klans of America in 1987.” -
Session is said to have call some one boy but everyone who was there said it's a lie ..

In 1985 Sessions prosecuted three black community organizers in Alabama for basically helping to register old black people, falsely alleging voter fraud. The defendants were acquitted of all charges by a jury after three hours of deliberation. Nothing since 1985 suggests that Sessions has changed much since then. And this is the man Tim Scott supported to be Attorney General. SMH.

cacs and ? always wanna say anything even remotely pro-black is "liberal" or "left"
they don't get it -
Suggesting blacks should tolerate anything about Sessions & his documented attitude and actions towards black people is laughable.
It's not like he's some rambling racist ? below an overpass; he's held and holds a position with the power to affect our quality of life. -

Black people SHOULD be intolerable of those that perpetuate injustice against us. Trying to turn the ? into a pity party because you got your feelings hurt is some ? ? .
So not only is he traitor and a ? , but he's always a cryin' ass ? . Foh. How do these types of black people reconcile with themselves when it's all said and done?
