Valiant's Quantum & Woody is coming to TV -- and it's set to be the next project the directing/producing duo of Joe and Anthony Russo take on following the completion of Avengers: Infinity War, reports TheWrap.

The series centers around a pair of adopted brothers -- the titular Quantum and Woody -- who get super powers in an accident -- but the powers only work when the two are together, and if they're apart, for long periods of time, the powers will ? them.

This means the bickering, interracial siblings are forced to find a way to work together to investigate their father's death and fight for the common good.

Created by Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright, it was Valiant's most acclaimed series when it launched in the '90s and, under writer James Asmus, a well-reviewed but controversial launch as part of Valiant's current slate of books.

The controversy subsided when Priest and Bright, who had fought the previous management at Valiant over rights to the characters, returned for Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody, which wrapped up their take on the characters.

The current version of Quantum and Woody are in theory the same characters but, as with all of the relaunched Valiant titles, the old continuity doesn't "count."

As for TV, no word yet on a network or a cast. It seems likely the show will be developed by Valiant with Sony Pictures Television and then shopped around, but that's just an educated guess given the company's relationship with Sony, who are developing movies for Harbinger, Bloodshot, and Archer & Armstrong.

At New York Comic Con 2016, Valiant Entertainment revealed the first trailer for Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe, a six-episode series that brings Ninjak to live-action for the very first time later this year.

Ninjak vs. The Valiant Universe is produced by Aaron & Sean Schoenke of Bat in the Sun Productions (Super Power Beat Down) and written by Aaron Schoenke, Sean Schoenke, and Joe Harris. Ninjak Vs. The Valiant Universe stars Michael Rowe (Arrow, The Flash) as Colin King, a.k.a. Ninjak; Jason David Frank (Power Rangers) as Bloodshot; John Morrison (WWE, Lucha Underground) as the Eternal Warrior; Chantelle Barry (90210, Entourage) as Roku; Kevin Porter (Dodgeball) as Armstrong; Ciera Foster (Two and a Half Men) as Livewire, and Derek Theler (Baby Daddy) as X-O Manowar.. The series will be produced by Dinesh Shamdasani, Josh Johns, and Gavin Cuneo for Valiant Entertainment.
