Alicia Vikander's a good actor so I don't mind her being Lara Croft, plus she fits the rebooted version of her well going by the photos.
Angie Jolie is still the GOAT Lara Croft though. -

Reboot Lara still comes across as an adventurer. This chick just looks straight up weak. I get it she's been praised as a great actress since that movie where she romances a ? but the ? still looks frail and malnourished for an active explorer.

I thought thats what actors are supposed to do , play an array of characters? How many times are people gonna be mad about a selected actor without even seeing the trailer or the movie ?

all people claimed they were initially miscast and they excelled
and i thought here rise to fame were for her great performances in the Royal Affair and Ex Machina before The Danish Girl. -
Nobody claimed Deadpool was miscast dog. If anything it's the one thing everybody agreed that X-Men Origins: Wolverine got right.

People complained about Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman when they got those roles initially and it also serves to my broader point that let see that trailer and see whats good ,shorty has proved she can act , lets see if she can helm a major action project.

Nobody ever complained about Ryan as Deadpool b. You can look up net archives going back to 2008 when that movie was still fresh if you want. Everybody agreed that it's the one role he could actually excell at. You might be thinking of Green Lantern.
Zoe was a joke in Colombiana. Came across as a parody. Bad example. You also forgot Milla and Kate whatsherface in the Underworld joint. I am gonna wait and see of course cause Tomb Raider always had potential to be a good movie. It just hasn't happened yet. -
How they take away Lara Crifts ? and didnt even give her no ass?

They should have done this when Gemma Arterton was in her prime, that woman has terrific assets, and a decent enough actress as well to have been able to pull it off.
