    I rewatch ed season 4 recently. I binged the entire series again over the last few weeks. Originally I disliked season 4, but after watching it again I laughed so much and appreciated it a lot more and different jokes started to make sense when they didn't the first time I watched. It's not as good as the original 3, but I like it a lot more than I used to

    It got two seasons but no resolution. One of the producers expected at least one more season from it.

    The original plan was one season then it was talks of continuing it until they ultimately cancelled it

    ^^^^ - [adult swim] dropped the ball here, Black Dynamite was blowing up in its 2nd season and filling the void that fake 4th season of the Boondocks left. Animation was gorgeous and the 1970s Black Culture references were hilarious

    iirc they did a episode where they had a George W Bush character "produce" a fake pilot for a racist redneck show and showed it to a bunch of white people in a focus group w/ hidden cameras

    THEN they got the same focus group back together 3 months later and showed them the finished episode

    the look on these cacs faces as they watch themselves get exposed is Priceless:

    I think the show runners found out it was getting cancelled after 4-5 episodes but abc still wanted the full order of shows to fill the time slot and they just said ? it. Cast and plot was dope. I think abc wanted to connect with the LOST viewers and keep it pushing in that wednesday time slot but the viewers never showed up.
