This show is turning it for me! The pilot had me glued to the screen and wanting more. No shade, but I wasn't going to watch because of the premise of the show. Now I'm addicted to it!

Was bored and didn't finish -
I ? with the show so far, they definitely got that 70's feel down pat. Maggie's character taking the campbell soup to the face got me dying still. HBO already gave Season 2 a go.

Just checked it out. I'm feeling it so far. Captured the aura of the seedy element in Times Square during the 70's before it was disneyfied. They also renewed it for a 2nd season which will focus on another time period. Knowing how David Simon loves to expand universes, I'm sure the series will get more byzantine all while still managing to be engrossing altogether

Damn that Maggie be going all out for her movies man. If I had an actress wife I'd have 2 talk 2 her. The Secretary, Stripsearch and now this? I'll give her an A 4 effort but her choice of roles is suspect.

Haven't seen the latest episode yet but I like the show. Candy/Eileen is the best character which is no surprise since Maggie Gyllenhaal is a producer on the show.
This show is more about what's happening than the ppl tho so I'm also not surprised I don't really care about anyone outside of candy as of yet. -

So many moving parts, reminds me of the wire.
Method is acting his ass off. That back n forth in the street w maggie was dope af. Dude's acting has really improved. I thought Slim would jus put hands on a ? , but gat damn. Didnt see that ? comin. SMH at all the ? boy cops wanting their take. lmao at CC bustin in on the porno shoot lol lol. Even taxed the porno actor dude.
I aint seen this much hard core ? stuff since six feet under. That movie threatre scene made me cringe. -
