It's not out of ordinary that these types of leaks happen especially during the beta testing phase (where they let engineers and other employees use phone prototypes for a month or so...to get a feel of the phone from a customer perspective prior to release).
Happened before when a guy left a prototype phone in a bar, if i recall correctly.
I can't even call it if that engineer is ? or not. It's likely. At this point the phone itself would be highly confidential if not restricted information and any divulgence of information regarding it would be cause for termination. I personally do not rule out the possibility of this being a planned leak.
