Current Comedians
I watch a lot of stand-up whenever I get the chance, and I was wondering how my opinion stacks up with everyone else.
Chappelle is the current King. Murphy before him. Pryor before him. Red Foxx and George Carlin before him.
Bill Burr is another favorite. Kevin Hart is just a little too commercialized now, his earlier stuff was hitting when he was hungry. Bert Kreischer is pretty funny, and I was surprised how much I liked Deon Cole's Netflix special. Dude is funny as hell. Used to write for Conan's show, I think.
Any other opinions?

Respect to the greats...
I don't keep up with comedy the way I used to, but Deon Cole has had me in tears a few times. He's funny on black-ish and grown-ish as well, but better on stage.

How is comedy going to handle this politically correct climate? Things are looking dicey for Chris D’Elia and Brian Callen, and look what happened to Louis CK. Chappelle was taking heat for just telling the damn truth on his last special. Still took the Grammy for Best Comedy Album tho...

Good list. I had forgotten about Shaffir. His 2-show special on Netflix a few years back was good, but damn, when he drove those illegal workers to the ICE office and filmed them scattering from the truck...I’m still trying to figure out if that was real or staged.

Burr is that dude... hell, he’s been that dude for about 3-4 years now (Top 5 still alive comedians)

Always on time with it... he for real looked like he was off the cuff improv with it, and the truth behind the punchlines still hit like Tyson...

Kevin Hart's newest special dropped today. I havent been too crazy about a Kevin Hart special in a long long time, but might peep once im off work.

I peeped it. He is guarded as ? compared to his first few specials (can't say I blame him after the last year and a half), but he delivered a "safe" Netflix special. Still kinda funny, I guess. I got more out of Burr and Chappelle's SNL monologues, but ymmv.
