    boyz n da hood had their debut. bun-b had 'trill'. p-troy came out with 'face off pt. II', juelz had 'what the games been missin', paul wall had his ? out, hell even memphis bleek and the young gunz came out wit solid albums...'534' and 'brothers from another' respectively. i agree with what dude said that '05 gets overlooked cuz of mike jones. pretty much. i loved '05, i'll probably always b bias with '05 cuz i graduated high school that that may. but seriously, '05 was a great year from top to bottom. solid albums all around.

    I forgot the GRODT soundtrack, yo 05 might be pound for pound the best year of the decade at least it could give 2000 a run for it's money.

    Wasn't this the last year for major sales? 05 was the ? had people choosing between G-unit and GAME, game had classic diss mixtapes! Kanye was cementing himself, weezy showed he could be a force,

    I think 08 might be the last year for big sales with Wayne doing a million in a week. But yeah 05 was quality, AZ dropped AWOL another slept on album.
