Nobody liked MF Doom. He's gonna show up on the AHH Year in Review, which drops this week

My top picks would have to be:

    P.O.S - Never Better
    K-os - Yes!
Kid Cudi - Man on the Moon
    K'Naan - Troubadour
Jazz Liberatorz - Fruit of the Past
    Fashawn - Boy Meets World
    CYNE - Water for Mars
    Cradle Orchestra - Velvet Ballads
    Slaughterhouse - Slaughterhouse
Blame One - Days Chasing Days

    ----

My favourite from my favourites would either be:

k-os' - Yes! album, which I think is a true return to form for him... if his form ever slipped! With a lot of party tracks, it's definitely an album not to be missed but also for it's depth in beat selection and lyrics. I think k-os is one of the artists of the past decade and I think he definitely saw it out with class.

    Or

Fashawn - 'Boy Meets World' which I think simply excels as one of the more complete albums of the year. He has a good ear for beats and made a smart move aligning himself with Exile. I think it's a great album and one that may be reflected on in a few years with admiration. Hopefully more rappers will continue to work more closely with their producers creating more cohesive albums, if we look back over the past few years, when this has happened, we've always received great albums. There's a reason why groups have such longevity too with CunninLynguists KNO to LB and 9th when he was with them...

For the purposes of the thread however, I gotta go with k-os' Yes! release. He's a genius to me and definitely one of my favourite artists and I can think of no album that I've played more this year.
