What Would You Do
What would you do if you didn’t have money?
What would you do without silver and gold?
Would you cry or would you find it funny?
Would you sell your soul and be dethroned?
Now you aint got to have cash to surrender to your kids and such,
But you got a lot of loving and it don’t cost much,
You just need enough to put food in the mouth,
Working seven days a week to pay for the house,
Don’t pretend it doesn’t hurt you, because I know it does.
Been there before and I know you wish you go back to the way it was before,
But have faith.
Fall on your knees, and close your eyes, pray to what you believe,
Even if you yell Jesus please!
Money isn’t a thing that makes a man turn fool,
Turn into a blind eye that make you break the golden rule,
If you must succeed without breaking the deeds,
Move mountains with your faith and don’t deceive,
Best believe the battle has already begun, the battles already won, that’s the outcome,
I know you know you seen a lot but never give it up, give it up!
What would you do if you never stood for the truth?
You’d be chopping ? and ? to poison the youth,
What would you do if Christ never died?
You’d be toasted like marshmallows and hell is where you’d fry.
W hat would you do if your skins wasn’t brown or black?
Would you understand me, instead of holding me back?
What would you do if your last name wasn’t yours?
Guess what, it’s not!
You never really had a choice, if a pastor wandered the way you wonder,
Then he feel the way I feel.
Would you celebrate if my life ended? Or you’d go looking for your name on my will?
I’m the type of lady that‘s never been afraid to ask questions,
Now do you really want to die from the street’s infections?
It’s your prerogative; you do what you do,
I do what I got to do, because of cats like you,
I’m going to close it off right before the end of this verse,
I hope to never see your soul carried off in a hearse.
What would you do if the sun didn’t shine?
Would you complain of the bicker or walk around blind?
Or would you use all your might to find the light,
To separate your lonely day’s from nights.
And uhhh what would you do if the sky only rain,
and washed away your happiness and nourished all your pain?
Would you dig a hole and bury your soul?
Or would you build a temple and take control?
What would you do if you never had a mother or father?
Would you throw yourself to the streets and be lost like a child with no roots?
What would you do if your favorite brother died?
And the only brother you had left just died,
Would you give up life or continue to live?
What would you do if you went thru not one but two cancer remissions?
Would you continue with your treatment intervention?
Or let go without no hope or vision?
What would you do if you lost not 1 but 8 family members within 3 months?
Would you be sitting here reading this poem?
Or would you have off’d yourself?

? gurl i loved that sooo much!!! you dont know how bad i want to spit that on a track real talk i could make this sound realy realy nice this is like my life right here everything u said and implemented on is how i thinkk i love ppl like you in the crazy world they make ppl like thins only exist one out of a million...a sweeet soft old nature loving soul a person tired of ignorance and belligerance a person that loves the simple things.. this is like a biiig breath of fresh air and a huge wakeup to the harsh reality that we live in today ppl need to read passages like this at least once a day right before they get out to start their day remember it...and i bet the world would be a much better place....u were always one of my fave ppl on here gurl and you killed it with this im lookin forwad to hearing more...and real talk you should let me floe this
