-- WWE hopes to have the top three matches for WrestleMania determined by November. There are currently plans to have a number of people turning face or heel by the time WM rolls around, including one very big name. As far as Money in the Bank goes, they are considering bringing it back for WM and doing the PPV again as well. Nothing has been decided on that front.

    hmm..............cena perhaps?

According to a person that works for WWE and knows the merchandise figures, he doesn't see a heel turn happening in the near future. Cena is said to be too valuable in that department and it would be too much of a risk even if PPV numbers and TV ratings went up as a result.

According to Dave Meltzer, one idea was for Cena to play a role similar to Bret Hart where he'd be a heel for adults but still be a babyface for the kids.

that ? wont work, gotta be a FULL FLEDGED heel

    and..................

While it hasn’t been a week yet since Randy Orton won the WWE Title, there is already some people in the company who are second-guessing the decision to put the belt back on him. Some feel that they pushed Orton hard for weeks and then gave him the belt and nobody seemed to care about it once he won. Some people were pushing to put the belt back on John Cena while others feel that this is a sign that Cena needs to turn heel because his face run is over.

orton deserves to be wwe champ!!!

"Those people" who believe Cena should be champion are stark raving idiots. He doesn't need to be champion for a very, very long time as long as he's face.

The only way I can see Cena being champion again is if he's heel and beats an uber face champion. If he wins the belt and then turns heel on EVERYONE, stating that he's only doing it for himself and that NO ONE motivates him, not even the kids and women that support him. Of course, as many sources have stated, the WWE will never do that, it'll ? their marketing of his character.

But in a wrestling standpoint, it's the best way to make him heel right now. But they can only do it if he beats a super face champion, and holds the title until another super face challenger is built up and ultimately loses to him. It can't be on the first defense against this newly built guy either; something like the 3rd or 4th defense. It has to drag to create a "chase" so people can get behind the new guy so they'd care that he won and that the super heel champion (Cena) has finally fallen.

If Cena is damn near invincible as a face, imagine what he'll be as a heel.

BTW, there's a stipulation for HIAC that if Cena loses to Barrett, he'll have to join Nexus. So maybe this is the seeds that need to be planted to hint to a turn. But we all know, he'll (hopefully) put over Barrett, reluctantly join Nexus, and then turn on them at a major event and crush everything that was built up about them. He already does this when they put him in gauntlet matches and he beats each one every time until they jump him. Wishful thinking, but it's not WWE logic.

The possibility of turning John Cena has been discussed much more seriously than in the past, according to the Pro Wrestling Torch.

Vince McMahon made it clear when the idea was previously broached that it would not even be considered due to the tremendous amount of revenue Cena draws via merchandise. While there doesn’t appear to be any firm plan in place, McMahon has since changed his tune on the subject as he is now open to listening to suggestions.

Meanwhile, this week’s issue of Figure Four Weekly adds that there is "strong talk" of a turning Cena heel come Wrestlemania season or even sooner.

According to Bryan Alvarez, the current plan for the John Cena/Nexus storyline is to pattern it after the Ted DiBiase/Virgil storyline from the early 1990's. The idea is that Wade Barrett will continue ordering Cena around until the point where Cena finally snaps and attacks Barrett. It appears that the creative team has an idea for the end of the storyline, but the rest of it will be done week-by-week.
