    Em's Impact> Jay

    Pacs Impact > Jay

Pac still has sold the most albums in the US in terms of hip hop

    Em has it locked worldwide...

but back to the thread, in terms of impact it's a no brainer Elvis>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Jay

Em vs Elvis is more comparable

To be clear, Elvis had way more impact than anybody in rap EVER, including Eminem.

If Elvis were alive today, and he made a song with Eminem, that ? would sell approximately 100 zillion records.

Yo, H-Rap, you my brother and I respect you, and I even can recognize that though I aint into Jay I could NEVER deny his impact, but ... Elvis? Whether we like it or not, that racist ? had an impact that only Michael Jackson, The Beatles and Religious Icons can compete with.

Elvis??? ELVIS?? When I see thousands old people having ceramic statues of Jay-Z in their house(lol@ the thought), a theme park dedicated to Jay-Z or HUNDREDS of Jay-Z impersonators making a living off of that alone in America, THEN we can compare.

Haha Big's passing pretty much birthed Jay-Z. Let's be honest, if Big was still alive, Jay-Z's worth would be in the 5-10M range.

not sure about BIGs current sales....but i think he's sold large number of albums...

I know Pac and Em are very close in terms of sales...some may argue Pac may have sold more seeing as few of his albums have not been reclassified and many sales are unaccounted for...

in terms of Black Hip Hop artists, nobody will ever get close to his number....

well Jumpoff T.V., a better comparison would have been Tupac but even he hasn't had the impact Elvis has...even though he stole Chuck Berry's and a few others style but we ain't gonna get into that.

Isn't Jumpoff TV in some way owned by Joe Budden? Or is that just JBTV?

If so, it's no wonder Jay-Z got ? on in that video.

I do not like Elvis's music and never really got why people were into his music. To me, Elvis is a Jackie Wilson ripoff.
