Toss up between Jack and Meryl. They've got the widest range.

I love them, truly, but Will, Tom Cruise, and George Clooney have no business on this list.

    Denzel...

Will has more roles.. than those blockbuster.. situations..

Agree.. clooney.. and Cruise have no business there they are decent.. but they are generally overrated.. and lauded more for their looks. especially cruise.. hes the male Julia Roberts IMO

All those films are over hyped , i like The Dark Knight and Lords of Dogtown....Monsters ball was only hyped because Halle berrys sex scenes and Broke mountain i didnt watch as i hate romantic films and i deffo was not going to sit through a film about two cowboys..

Titanic - which i hate for the first hour of it....
Catch Me If You Can,Gangs of New York,The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, Inception...

I like most of Leo's work been a fan since Gilbert Grape but he's the definition of overhyped. on Heath Ledger though even Leo would probably co-sign as his body of work up until the age of 28 far outweights anything DiCaprio or any of his peers accomplished before that age.

"He would've been the greatest actor of his and a couple of other generations as well." - Terry Gilliam

the bolded + The Aviator are all great movies but purely from an acting perspective nothing is ? with The Dark Knight or Brokeback

There's people actually dumb enough to consider Tom Cruise and Will Smith the actor of a generation?? This isnt a bout who makes the most money at the box office, so ? them and Clooney. *smh* @ you having them and not Robert DuVall, Jack Nicholson, Edward Norton, Ed Harris, Jeff Bridges, Joaquin Phoenix, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Daniel Day-Lewis, crazy ass Sean Penn, etc.
