today i heard this arguement btw this black and white guy. it was about who deserves more credit in building america.
the white guy says because of the education level and the business savvy of whites, america was able to flourish and become a great economy. inturn giving blacks people and all people of this country jobs and making us the superpower we are today. he says whites were the ones stopping the spread of so much crime and that alot of the mostly peaceful areas are a majority white.
the black guy says... it was because of the free labor of slaves that whites were able to put the money they didnt pay slaves into other ventures and investments. he also said because of the lack of educational funding in the majority black areas are the cause for the crime and in the areas where blacks are well off...the crime is comparable to any white area.
they went on for about 20 minutes...maybe longer but i had to go...

so i ask you guys who deserves the credit for the building up of america into what it is today.

yeah that white cat was trippin'....w/o blacks and immigrants AKA what his ppl would consider non-whites this country wouldn't have gotten built--period!

very ethnocentric stance for him to take in thinking that good "business savvy" makes him the holder of the key to America's door....sadly many ppl that run our givt believe the exact same thing....

I've heard SO many within this site claim it was black people who built this country w/o any mention of others....whether this is true is up for debate??? HOWever this Black President will transform it/AKA destroy-it in the end.

America was built by a lot of different people. But it won't be the Black President that destroys it. It is already declining all he could do is help the crackers finish the job.

They love to take credit for the good, but none of the bad.

you know the only time a black person is leading without alot of white resistance is when the ship is going down...now if obama would have ran when the country was doing good...lets say after clinton...im sure he would not have won.
white people love to be on top while everything is going good, but love to give the wheel to the black man when ? is going bad to say "see, they are killing our country"

    1) Obama is taking heat for mistakes that began under Bush's governance.
    2) The global consensus is almost unanimous that the United States is a more respectable county under Obama than it was under Bush.
    3) I've heard criticism of Obama from every quarter, black, white, republican, democrat. It's only the white republicans who blame him for mistakes that Bush made.
    4) If the United States is destroyed, it will be Obama who slowed the destruction that Bush started.

How can a man who has been president for two years of a burning ship that he stepped on destroy the ship and it be his fault?. Some of you white people don't want to take responsibility for the 40 plus white boys who ? up real bad and now it's coming back to haunt you. That is sick.

Centuries old bad policies, not Barak is what is tearing this nation down. Barak wasn't born when your white president decided to turn the currency control of this nation to private banks which pretty much sealed your financial doom. Barak wasn't in office when your manufacturers decide to start outsourcing industries to third world nations putting you out of work. Barack wasnt born when Educators started intentionally lowering standards and dumbing down the populace because it makes good business sense to have dumb populace. Barak wasn't born or in office when the crazy white boys made it a long standing tradition to start meddling in other peoples affairs and disrupting whole nations and assassinating leaders and starting wars, making you disliked and not trusted around the world.

You obstinate rebels refuse to look in the mirror and accept what you have done. This country is falling because of what most people around the world know and say. Greedy White men.

Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva

"The financial crisis was caused by "white people with blue eyes". He told a joint press conference with Mr Brown that he had never met a black banker. "This is a crisis that was caused by people, white with blue eyes. And before the crisis they looked as if they knew everything about economics,"

WOW! now your blaming white people who have patriot colored eyes for all that's wrong with America! great logic....thanks. At Least now I know NOT to look a black man straight in his eyes.....that MF'er IS hating on me for the color of my eyes.....WOW!

I didn't say it he did^^^^^^. And lol at blue being patriot color. 2 million people in prisons, ? , murder, ? , robbery, pornography, divorce, gambling, rampant drug use, alcoholism, poisonous foods, child abuse, more battered women here than in any developed nation, collapsing economy, homosexuality, adultery and he is going to destroy America from the inside?

    Ha Ha. Your a hypocrite.

You don't comprehend very well do you? Do you understand what red white and blue represents.....I jokingly say that when my eyes are just that IE red white and blue.Oh btw you posted that info and apparently endorse what the man said.....so what's your point?

I comprehend very well. It's just that your level and my level are not the same. Your thoughts are beneath and mine are above.

Depends on who you are talking to. To some it represents slavery, suffering, and death. Others it represents freedom. To others it represents a vehicle and license to ? , terrorize, exploit and subjugate in the name of the American people.

I didn't endorse anything. I was just letting you know that there is a world out here who doesn't see things the way you have been force fed.

Sad part is, you really believe that Barack is a shot caller, big baller and not a ? like every other past president over the last 150 years or so. He represents the same interest that the others did. And just like the others they have you focused on him while the real power just manipulates you alls emotion either for or against him, and they have you stupid ? and crackas arguing over who sits in the seat while they continue to rob you blind. Yes, you're right. Bush should have stayed out of the kitchen instead of heading the United States into financial collapse. He couldn't take the heat but he was too ideologically ? to realize it.
    Can you prove this?

Read the Economist, read international news, ask your international friends, if you have any, and you'll see that the rest of the world welcomed Obama's governance because of its multi-lateralism and the simple fact that his ideology does not involve trying to transform the Middle East from above.
It does not surprise me that you're a conservative American and you're out of touch with the rest of the world.

If you don't believe me, go to worldopinion . org and click on views of countries and regions and then click on the article at the top titled Global Views of United States Improve While Other Countries Decline or the one below it titled
Though Obama Viewed Positively, Still Much Criticism of US Foreign Policy: Global Poll
    Blame game again

Exactly. The republicans are blaming Obama for Bush's mistakes. It's funny.

And smh at you conflating socialism and communism.

I'm no fan of Obama, but he's ten times better for the world and for the US then Bush was and that's really not saying much.

    Wrong! I'm an independent

    Congratulations . . .
and believe in taking care of me and mine, I can't worry about the whole wide world and what they think of me.

. . . on being a conservative independant. Foreign policy affects the world, so you should care what the world thinks of your country.
It's obvious you've got that collective salvation mentally & sharing the wealth ideology.

    I'm a Canadian, what can I say?
I'm not going to dispute you on this issue.....but wouldn't it be more appropriate to take care of America's problems FIRST like putting Americans back to work and solving our energy problems and our dependence on oil from the ME.....where's all them green jobs at?? how about staying focused on America mister President instead of pleasing the whole world.

Hey, if any president could create a million jobs, effectively switch the US to green energy, wean the US off of foreign oil from the Middle East (but not Canada), and create green jobs you don't have a president anymore you have Jesus Christ.

All politicians are devils, you just have to choose between the worse and worst.
What's so funny about having two totally incompetent Presidents back to back

The humour is in the Republicans. I wouldn't classify Obama as completely incompetent, just slightly incompetent. Bush was completely incompetent.

? help you if Palin ever gains traction.

Yeah! and that nation building ideology won't allow for us to just let things be......sorta like damned if we do and damned if we don't. This nation and its melting ? has been boiling over for decades & where has it got us? well according to many/most within this site America is the most racist and evil country on the planet.....yet millions are dying to come here.....so in the end who will survive?

When the US unilaterally interferes in other countries rather than trying to work with them then opinion of them suffers. When the US is more isolationist, trades freely, and helps other countries then opinion improves. My grandparents were always thankful for the American role in defeating the Nazis and helping to rebuild Europe. Things like that do get noticed.

Racism does exist in the US and the US has wrought evil around the world. Criticizing the US for these things is a patriotic thing to do because you can't improve your country without examining your faults and your strengths. And, yes, Canada should do the same.

How can you acknowledge the fact that Obama has been given a ? mess to clean up, but then say its all his fault if it gets worse? Its real simple, its going to take a lot longer than his term and maybe even his second term to make things better than the last president's 2 terms. Be for real.

So the solution to the problem is to spend more and more money. I just don't follow that logic IE spend your way out of debt by spending more of the taxpayers monies & those of the next two generations -- MOST economist wouldn't agree with that premise, then again his cabinet isn't filled with those type of individuals anyway.

There is no single solution. Look it may or may not work, but to say THIS president is going to destroy the country is a reach of magnificent proportions.

Like you've met most black people. Who has demonstrated more hate than white people? Don't project on me your hatred. white people always like to throw up the hate card when someone tells you anything other than your great. I guess you and black people are a lot alike.

And the only nonsense that was spewed was when you came through the vas deferens. By the way, I'm plaid.

I agree, but many people conveniently ignore that when his term started he was given a bag of ? and told to make it work. Its not completely upon this presidency if things get worse. I dont get how ANYONE tries to refute that.

i suppose where i am going with this is that i am looking at a picture of a white guy who (for now) runs a nation that apparently lacks black bankers, something he could presumably help address in that nation, complaining about white bankers ruining ? from elsewhere

i think it's like this: if things get worse, you can't just say "well, it's not his fault that things got worse, because Bush was bad," because then i have to ask "if Obama took office stating he was going to fix Bush's mistakes... and if he knew what Bush did wrong... how has he done NOTHING to improve things"

or in other words, just because you think Bush was a terrible president, it doesn't mean Obama gets a pass for everything he does. now i think both of them get blame for stuff that don't control because they're THE EXECUTIVE IN CHARGE, but whatever
