If Shaq maximized his potential, where would he rank all time?

Never worked on free throws
Never stayed in shape over the summer
Would wait til the regular season to get surgery instead of getting it done in the offseason
Even now, he made 6 finals and won 4 but if he kept himself in shape and hit his ceiling, how great would he have been?

stop lookin at his flaws and start lookin at his positives...
1996-2003 GOAT center... -
I think Shaq had potential to be the greatest ever and 2000 was the only time where he really played up to his skills.

Exactly. He could have done that every year for 10 years if he would have kept himself out of the studio and in the gym during the summer. -
He's already a top 3 Center...but out of all players...i'll say 20

Shaq is the most dominant but Hakeem IS that ?
-
Um he accomplished everything a person.. that plays ball wants to do.. so this is null and void.. because what ifs don't happen and never will.

Hakeem Olajuwon>>>>shaq...thats just me -
I think hes the single most dominant player of all time....BUT, imagine if he actually had post moves lol
that ? just overpowered ? and got close 2 da rim to score, imagine if he shot freethrows now the same way he shot freethrows in his last year of Phoenix (2nd half of the season)......he'd be the greatest ever, period
but even still hes accomplished everythin u could possibly ask for -

I agree with all of that but still, he has only one mvp, no defensive first team selections and has been swept 6 times.
:shrugs, I'll quit reachin now lol

um... what does a niggga gotta do to max their potential nowadays lmao.. he won 4 rings and every MVP award you can grab.. I understand what you are saying though, I was watching the '93 all star game when Shaq was on the magic and he was unbelievable.. he was crazy athletic and outsized every1.. Dwight Howard will never be Shaq but baCK TO THE POINT.. Shaq has done it all probably could've won a couple more titles but what the hell
