Better lyricist in their prime, Nas or Canibus?

    Nas is overall better lyricist. Bis might have a better vocabulary and better rhyme scheme, but that doesn't make a lyricist IMO. It's how you use the vocabulary and rhyme schemes to create a verse that is coherent and sticks to the topic. Simple or complex, the lyrics have to be saying something. Nas' imagery, storytelling, and overall poetic value makes him a better lyricist than Bis.

    It's really a shame what happen to Canibus and his career. I remember waiting on his first album like a dope fiend at the first of the month.
