Firefox 3.6.11 wont open on desktop smh (help a brotha out)

So I downloaded 3.6.10 and it worked for the first time i opened it. So I close the window and next time i open the window it wouldnt work.

I eventually just deleted it and reinstalled. It opened once...I close it..it wont open again but it will run in the "processing" thing when you push ctrl + alt + DEL....

So why will it run there but not actually open a window?

I even tried to delete all the firefox folders and still nothing.

BUT...it works fine on the laptop I'm using now.

Is it an add-on? Because I'm using the same ones I used on 3.5...

Anybody else have this problem?

OK I found my own fix but it's a ? fix. I have to basically unplug the modem...THEN start it. Then plug the modem back in.

For some reason it wont start if the modem is plugged in.

So maybe its on a firewall setting or something. But why just firefox?

I had the issue when I updated it a few weeks ago, I had to uninstall the add on's, remove firefox and all it's folders, download it again and then re-download the add ons and it's worked fine since.

I don't know , I got the update. I haven't had any problems with it yet.
