My Old Set up. custom built PC running Logic Audio
Now I just keep it light and portable with Macbook, MPD and Reason. Comes in handy when I travel. This is what I do when on vacation.

Money that new setup is simple and clean... do you run Protools outta that?

Editor - Sound Forge 8 and Edison.
Controller - Korg K25

Two differences from this pic and today: 1. I have a 19" monitor now (still a CRT, 1600x1200 FTW!) and 2. My PC is in a different case now, but it's still beige. -

I have.
I have it programmed on there but I dont run it unless Im doing vocals which is rare.
I want to get an M-Box interface but it doesnt work with my condenser mic.
For vocals, I been using my friend's cheap mic that comes with the M-box interface package.
I make it do what it do though. -

do you have a USB mic or something? If not, any condenser will work with an M-Box. -

LOL...I do it all, playa! Dont let the portable vacation joint fool you.
The 66 key joint is still at the crib readily available. Either that or the studio joint. -
