i think maybe its because them labels are not wasting their money on it. Or maybe even cause their artists refuse to do so. Im pretty sure the artists don't even want to rep it either.

i woulda loved to have had a roc-a-fella chain
or even the special hot boys edition cash money records medallion with the spicy peppers on the side -
there really arent any lables like that to do it, and the labels that could do it dont want to spend the money.
but that ? was always hot imo. -
it's prolly because the relationship between label/artist is not friendly these days. u wouldnt wear the sign for some people who told u how your album should sound either

Truth is right the relationship between the artist and label has changed over the years there isn't as much love its strictly business.

i can't forget about the big ass Hypnotized Minds medallions three 6 used to have
the older ones were big as hell on big ass chains -
i liked the double r chain, the no limit tank, and the death row chain.

Well excessive jewelery has become less popular altogether..which is a good thing...about time ? started looking like grown men...but a couple labels still have the chains..they dont all wear them though (for example the Young Money Chain)
