Very sad, racist thread. Basically he's saying black females are inherently hoodrats. Therefore he likes the unique ones who lack obnoxious black people traits and only possess likable white people traits. It's very sad that black woman=hoodrat and anything else is an exception. I didn't really mean the opposite of "hoodrat" (that's what some posters were interpreting me as saying, and I admittedly didn't set them straight). There are black women who most definitely aren't that, and yet people would not say they "act white".

I get the sense that when people talk about "acting white," they are referring to ways of speaking (certain tones, expressions, and voice inflection) more than anything...but no one usually defines what they actually mean in a clear and thought out manner. Ask a few questions and they start switching it up so as not to offend others. Just say exactly what you mean.
