I have to say you can beat the ? out of a mustang w/out working on it too much but camaros are usually a lot faster....they tend to break a little more.

? it I'll do it for you. Manual Camaro = 426, Manual Mustang = 412. Auto Camaro = 400, Auto Mustang = 412. The Mustang is faster, so where's this killing you speak of stock to stock?
    Direct Comparison

Here is the direct comparison of the 2011 Mustang and the 2010 Camaro. The Mustang ranges from $20,995 to $35,995 in price, with the Camaro cashing in at $22,680 to $33,745. The Camaro boasts more horsepower and torque, registering in at between 304 to 426 horsepower and 273 to 420 lb-ft in torque, and has the larger engine set of a 3.6L V6 to a 6.2L V8. The Mustang runs close behind in horsepower and torque, with a value of 305 to 412 hp and 280 to 390 lb-ft. The Mustangs offers up engines of a 3.7L V6 to the 5.0L V8. The Mustang reaches 0-60 mph faster than its rival does with an estimate of 4.5 to 5.5 seconds. The Camaro clocks in at 4.8 to 5.9 seconds.

This is true. Plus the Camaro just looks better.

You pull to a light in the mustang, dudes are gonna wanna race.
You pull to a light in a Camaro, ? look at you like you're in a space ship.
You pull to a light in a Dodge Challanger? You... are... a.... ? .

Looks are opinion based so I wont argue that, but this more horse power thing is crazy to me. What does it really mean to have a little more horsepower(+14) and still not perform better than the car with a little less horsepower(-14). I know I'd take the better performing car regardless of HP rating. Now if you all buying based on looks cool, but throw that horsepower ? out the window cause its not the only thing that decides performance.

If you want a two-seater, I'd suggest the most rare.... The Challenger, and then the Camaro. Better looking and more desirable than the Mustang.

The Challenger has the same chassis as a charger, so it's built and heavy like a four-seater. More room. It has the most athletic look.

The Camaro, well it disapeared after 2002, and then magically came back with new body. 426 HP. You can stay in 1st and 2nd gear and still go fast.

Mustang= Most bought pony car ever. So that means, everyone's got one. Mostly older white guys overcompensating. Time to be different and stand out.

Whats up with that old ass video? The new Mustang has a 5.0 in it and is faster than all its competition.

Well, lemme put it in terms you can better understand.

Mustang = Air Force 1nes. Very common, very commercial.

Camaro = Jordans. Better looking, more desirable.

Challanger= Timberlands. The most expensive of the bunch.

LOL, I can some what agree with that. Except I think of the three the Camaro looks the worst but I also think its a good looking car, does that make sense?

I do see just as many new Camaros as I do new Mustangs. They're both very popular which I think is a good thing. It means the Muscle car wars are on.

That Challenger analogy is spot on though lmao!!

The new 5.0 mustang is quicker and has really decent suspension and brakes so it's beating both the Camaro and the Challenger in those performance aspects. As far as looks, well that's subjective.. The weight difference more than offsets the camaro's slight hp advantage.
