The ignorance of Our HipHop Culture is further Perpetuated in the support and revelry of the Dutch Master Cigar. The Irony in a name if My brothers only understood why and how the name came about was a direct result of slavery. The Dutch Slave trade was fueled by trading Tobbacco for Slaves and then the Slaves for riches. Now how we keep getting mind ? into supporting slavery and its roots. Now I can get how someone can get so smoked out they do not ever care to look past the superficial but once they know what drives these people to still continue support it? Would you Buy KKK Products as a Black man in america if they were named as so???

besides... I haven't heard anyone mentioning a Dutch in... ionno... 15 years or so... Everyone has been on phillies, white owls, swishers, and black/gold and milds. Then too... I don't smoke, so I don't pay attention to any of that anyways. -

when i did smoke, dutchies were the cat's meow. it is crazy though that they are called dutch masters... that's mind blowing and i never thought about that as i rolled exquisite el after el. at this juncture, i will make an issue of this amongst those who are still ? heads in my circle.

I'm not a Dutch Master fanatic, (being from the South it was strictly Swishers) but due to the namesake of this thread and the popularity of the Dutch..I just wanted to post this song...lol -
Interesting thread. I don't smoke... never have. But I do find this thread interesting.

It is about time someone talked about health in the Hip Hop community. Number one, smoking anything is not good for you; I don't care if you are Wiz Khalifa. Joints, Dutch Masters, Games; they were not consumed during our evolution.
