me and my cousin was debatin yesterday over which label was the best.
good music ? all over young money, imo.
look at their roster: common, big sean, cyhi da prince, mos def, pusha t......
all of these ? can spit! can't say the same about ym. they only have one artist that can rap (drake). rest of them ? suck, imo.
what's yall opinion???

    Good Music is def more talented, but talent alone doesnt make a label successful. Its a couple of spitters on YM tho. Gudda cud rap at one time but he seems to b regressing. Nicki can actually rap, but everybody focuses on her fat ass n weird ? expressings more then her lyrics. Tyga def can spit also.

    I didn't even know Common was signed to G.O.O.D Music and with common, mos def, & pusha t alone I think I will definitely be buying some albums. I never cared for Wayne's music or any acts associated with him. Young Money is just overrated as hell and to me and won't last very long with the cookie cutter music they put out. I don't think anyone will remember Drake or Nikki in the next 10 yrs.

    no debate, good music has more established/more talented artists where as outside of young moneys big three and perhaps tyga, have a bunch of tag alongs who have done nothing to solidify or sustain a career in the likelihood ym implodes. kanye has common, cudi, pusha, mos def, and john legend...alll of which have had nice careers so far with cudi being his first rookie talent to turn major. then he has cyhi da prince and big sean, both young cats with wider aspirations and both appearing on his latest soon to be platinum album. wayne got a good start with the YM album and that "Every girl" and "Bed rock" but notice that whole crew is quiet now outside of wayne, drake, and nicki? because those are the three stars and eveyrone else is just sitting. if gudda gets dropped from ym and tries to drop a record, unless he ahs some of the best production in the world, he won't do much career wise and that goes for a few others on that team. All of kanye's artists are known other then sean and cyhi and this time next year, they likely will have their own debut albums out an dwould have been touring around the world for probably the fourth time [for big sean] and the 2nd for cyhi.


    not to mention he has artists that work in all facets of hip-hop/rap/pop/R&B

    consequence, glc, mos def, common
    cyhi, big sean, pusha t
    with kanye west at the helm putting out music like he has? if he follows through with that next year rose wood movement, ym is gonna fall off hard and only the main three will last

    Young Money has more fat, but they also have more stars. GOOD Music have more talented mcs, but aside from Kanye none of them are stars or will be. I ? with GOOD Music though, YM makes disposable teeny bopper music.

    That's why i said they have more stars, Wayne, Nicki, and Drake are. Who beside Kanye is a star on GOOD Music? No one is gonna buy a Pusha, Big Sean, Mos Def,etc album either.
