I enter the house of pane as I hope for transparency
I exhale the evil on a window as I pass
It fogs up the surface and I write in "Thank you"
Seeing truth is now as clear as peering through a glass

You prove to me that you're not who you used to be
The you I see in my present is not the you of the past
I sat through the storms of your mood changes
What once was a clear sky moved to an overcast
I never knew you had all these faces
Didn't know which one would be the one to last
Until I saw that who you were was slowly replaced
By something else that just used you as a mask

The contrast was astounding as your emotions surfaced
Pent up inside you about to burst
You shut me out without so much as a purpose
Treating me like nothing, like I was ? worthless

I was your lifeline when your soul was in need
I lent you mine to slow the bleeding
After it all though, you were so deceiving
I hope you regret it, burn slow this evening
I said I was your lifeline when there was no one else
I stayed by you to ease your mind
You're lost in your thoughts, I hope you find them
Cause at this point in time, you're not in mine.


My attempt at organized thoughts... my head has been all over the place lately.
