Call me a native of this concrete jungle. The savagery.
Land of the heartless, soul snatchers, deceitful treacherous snakes.
The belly of these beast, marked, insatiable hungers like fire.
Angels with ? faces wanting redemption despite our priors.

They misdemeanors, meaning our intent was mistaken while doing wrong.
It’s was survival. Can I be blamed in a world that’s dog eat dog ?
No excuses, just the reason. These apples we find appeasing when engineered to be caged in Eden.
Paradise turned out inconvenient.

Survival scrolls speak of indentured, oppressed, and wrongs.
The only harmony we find in 808’s, toking out of this ? .
Such a sad song he sings of the happiness lost in life.
It’s fleeting, so I can’t help but sate my desire soon as tonight
From the tree, reaching pass knowledge, snatch my apple, and take a bite.
She tasted good, felt so soft, warmed my soul, yet still ain’t right.

My only holy ghost the spirits I pour for my troubles out of this bottle.
The Djinn makes me feel like any wish can be granted, but makes me hostile.
It then puts me to sleep and I haven’t slept so good in so long.
Yet I wake up feeling ruptured, swearing again I’ll leave it alone.

Guess I’m still thugging. Obnoxious, belligerent. Stuck in my ways.
Just a satyr, like so many. Mama she scold it as just a phase.
But we all biting apples, the youngest to oldest of age.
Must be an appetite for destruction that’s got us at this buffet

that was friggin epic....the wordplay, flow, and metaphors kept me on edge...this piece is truly one of a kind....bottom line excellent excellent work...keep dropping words of biblical scriptures that resolve violence with words of glory called poetry my fellow poet
