Latest three-pack for Sony's console will contain HD versions of Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory.

Less than a day after Crystal Dynamics confirmed a Tomb Raider trilogy pack was coming to the PlayStation 3, another threesome has been confirmed for the console. Ubisoft has confirmed that it is readying a three-pack of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell games for release on Sony's console, all of which will be remastered in high definition.

Sam Fisher's first adventures are headed to the PS3 in HD.

The trio will include the original Splinter Cell, which introduced the series' gravelly voiced hero, international operative Sam Fisher, in 2002. The critically acclaimed game also was the first to showcase the series' signature stealth-action mechanics, and it featured Fisher going after Chinese and Russian extremists.

Also included in the trilogy will be the 2004 sequel, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow. That game saw Fisher take on a biological threat to the entire world, and it featured team-oriented multiplayer modes. Finally, the three-pack will feature the 2005 follow-up, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, which sported a dynamic soundtrack by electronic musician Amon Tobin and a harder M-for-Mature rating.

The Splinter Cell trilogy will arrive on the PS3 on March 22, 2011--just under a year after the last installment in the series, Splinter Cell: Conviction, debuted on the Xbox 360. (The game later came to the PC, but it remains unavailable for the PS3.) For more on the original games, check out GameSpot's full reviews of Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, and Chaos Theory.

Probably never, lol. 360 doesn't do the HD trilogy releases, do they?
