    Feel accomplshed and all that.

You can never overdo it with being clean IMO. I'd rather have a man who's an OCD neat freak than a ? bag. I understand having a bachelor's pad, it may not be ? & span b/c let's face it, you need a woman's touch, but there's no excuse to live in filth or excess clutter. I would literally throw up if I went over a guy's house and it was ? , esp the kitchen and bathroom.

When I'm in a relationship, my man never has to clean.. even if I don't live with him I will come over and clean his crib for him b/c that's just how I am.. but for me to even be cool with a dude let alone be in a relationship with him he'd have to keep a clean crib, car and physical appearance from the jump, no ifs ands or buts. That should be apart of your morals and routine, if not that mean your mama ain't raise you right!

Some of my friends tell me horror stories about men they date when they go over their house and see roaches or dishes piled in the sink from weeks ago. I don't know how they do it. I'd walk right the ? out the door lol.

And then there's my cousin, this chick has 5 kids and she's 25. Her house is sooo ? and nasty! And I have seen her live in 3 diff places that all went to ? b/c she sits on her ass and don't clean. Always has dishes in the sink, clumps of hair on the carpet, just straight trife. I won't even use her toilet when I go over there to see her kids cuz it's so filthy I'd rather hold it! And THEN! She don't even keep handsoap in the bathroom, so I guess no one washes their hands in that house, which really puzzles me. I don't understand how her man can deal with that or how her mama ain't teach her better. ? sickening.

Sorry to ramble but I feel so strongly about that LMAO!

U gots to be the most level headed woman on here besides Charlie Danger.. Kudos..

I agree. I love the feeling of cooking a delicious meal and cleaning the entire kitchen and washing all the dishes. When everything looks sparkling and is put away where it's supposed to be, it makes me happy! I know that sounds lame but I swear I actually enjoy cleaning.

I been on my own since I was 15 and always had my own place that I kept extremely clean and tidy until now. At one point I had a roomate that was a chick and she was filthy so I had to dead that situation cuz I can't live like that or even around that. But I just recently moved in with my dad b/c my grandma was sick and I had to help him take care of her. So now I wash his clothes and clean his bathroom and ? , even when he cooks I clean up after him in the kitchen, I can't help it, sometimes I don't even notice what I'm doing until afterwards cuz it comes natural. And my dad loves it lol he tellin me he don't want me to ever move out. But thats why I just can't understand ? ? . It should just be an instinct for us to take care of our homes.

I feel uncomfortable and very uneasy if there is any sort of clutter in my home. Any mess, no matter how small, greatly irritates me.
I just can't feel at peace, at all. I can't even function properly. I feel my best when everything is in order.
I can understand how being a "hoarder" could easily bring one to depression.

Oh ? you had some rough experiences, I remember I had female friend who dating this guy. Everything was all good. Until she started noticing black moving things about coming his ears and then later on through the months she started heavily noticing it. Come to find it was ticks/lice coming out of his ears.

I just vomited a little bit.
That is just......did he not notice this himself?

This reminds me of a thread once made about one of the IC members walking into a womans home and it looked like a dumpster.
    Here's the confusing part.
How could any person bring themselves to invite a guest over with such a filthy home?
I don't find any sense in this.

yeah that just made my skin crawl

3 guys living under one roof.
I went over by the crib once long ago, dishes stacked up in the sink so I took it upon myself to wash them until I made a discovery.
There inside one of the empty bottles laid a gang of maggots *vomits*
I was so disgusted that I said screw that. I went and I told them about themselves and told one of them to get in the kitchen immediately to deal with their disgusting selves.

Naw naw... what about this one y'all... LMFAO!!!!

Soo.. my friend tells me she starts dating this guy she really likes. She goes over his house finally after he keeps avoiding letting her over (this was in the summer time). He had a candlelit dinner made for her so she enjoys it very much. Then she goes back a second time and it's another candlelit dinner. She asks him if they can watch a movie and he says let's just listen to the radio. She asks him to turn on the fan b/c she's hot and he says "you're just moving around too much, it's not hot in here". She thought nothing of it, and she spent the night. The next morning he leaves to go to work before her, so she gets up and when she goes to the bathroom the light won't come on. So she goes to the kitchen and sees the fridge is empty and dark and warm, he has a little cooler where he keeps his food and a gas stove for cooking. She checks the radio and sees it had batteries. So this ? has no electricity y'all. NO LIGHTS!!!!!

So she confronts him on the phone like why don't you have electricity? He's like "oh BGE (baltimore gas and electric) has to come fix my power tomorrow. It's just temporary" Well her little sneaky ass did some investigation b/c her sister works for BGE and finds out this ? has not paid his light bill in like 3 years and owes like $10,000 somehow. Only reason he still has gas and heat is b/c they can't get INTO his house to turn it off. So not only is he incapable of paying his ESSENTIAL bills but he's a liar.

The killer is he is always buying her ? and trying to take her on vacation. She doesn't ask for anything but he always hands her money and asks to take her away for the weekend, he even bought her a trip to Orlando for her birthday. I mean.. where are his priorities at? AND... she still deals with this guy til this day too. She tells me "I don't care that's his problem, I can't take him serious but since he wants to continue to do ? for me, let him do it." I can't agree with that or support her using someone like that. That would definitely be a DEAL BREAKER to me. A man who's a liar and lacks responsibility and priorities would disgust me atcually! I don't care how much he's doing for me. I'd feel guilty even accepting anything knowing he has no damn electricity and lives like that. WOW!!!!

I agree mami! Like it's bad enough living ? but wouldn't you be embarased to have company over when your house is nasty? I always kept my home nice and clean and even STILL when I was having company I'd make EXTRA SURE the place was spotless. I just don't get it.

Smh. If a man spent money on me while abandoning his responsibilities I would be greatly turned off.

Check this sis. It's off topic but since we are speaking of females who get no respect......

Matter of fact, everyone can read this and chime in if they wish.....

This older chick (late 20's) gets with a guy about 2-3 years younger than herself. She becomes aware that he has a child with another woman whom he does NOT take care of. This brother provides nothing at all, whether it's financial, emotional or mental. So he doesn't take care of his first child at all and yet this chick whispers sweet nothings in his ears gassing him up talking about she is single, has no kids and wants to have HIS baby.
So both her and this "deadbeat" as society would say, DELIBERATELY create a new life together.

He doesn't take care of his first priority and yet she says hey, let me go make a baby with him and he agrees being that his first child's mother won't take him back because....well, do I really have to paint the picture as to why? Didn't think so. He is just a piece of work, one the first mother wants nothing to do with and I don't blame her at all.
being that single childless women are such a commodity, why not make another baby I cant take care of for the sake of doing it to replace something he couldn't have, a family with his first woman.

    So who is "wrong" here.
    Him?
    Her?
Both equally stupid? I mean wrong?

as far as too eager, this guy i was talkin to came over, ordered food, we chilled, we talked, everything seemed cool until he got a lil too aggressive, end up stickin his tounge down my throat. then he wondered why i was always "busy" after that and never saw me smh.

    Exactly!!
I grew up like that. Anytime guests came over, we would make sure the spot is extra clean on top of already being clean. I don't know any better, lol.
I would ask when I was very young why we'd have to clean being that it wasn't messy to begin with. As I got out of my diapers I grew to understand.
I don't have the shame to bring someone over if my home is not presentable.

This one time I accompanied an associate of mine to cop some smoke right, biggest mistake of my life.
I should have never stepped foot in that ? house or so it appeared.
It was the most disgusting house I had ever seen. It didnt look like a finished home being that the entire floors were covered in GARBAGE. No, not dust, lint or dog hair, but actual pieces of trash, wrappers, soda cans, food particles. It looked like a dumpster threw up in their home.

@Marley I think that is because 90% of women suffer from "He'll be different with me" syndrome

That is so besides the point though.
    Hear me on this.
As a woman who respects herself and isn't selfish, I would NEVER stoop down to the level of a female who could bring themselves to purposely get impregnated by a boy who does nothing for their child.
The minute I learn that he doesn't provide for the child I would be ghost.

How could any woman live with herself knowing that a child has been abandoned by the very man they are involving themselves with? Disgusting. Live with herself? Forget that, how could she even bring herself to be with such a person?
Did either of them think of the child? No, but that was already expected by the guy. What about her? Did she for a second give a damn about his first child who he left fatherless?
    How dare she.
um they both stupid but was this a woman who desperately wanted a baby just for the sake of having a baby no matter who the daddy was. i know a woman like that smh.
Not entirely sure the exact level of her stupidity but if you see my above post, clearly she isn't a person of much morals or high quality.
All I know is shorty supported HIM with her welfare all the while telling him to knock her up.
I know there is a difference between ignorance and stupidity but this right here can't be coughed up to ignorance.

and how you personally feel is besides the point when you are talking about those other women...they aren't like you...a lot of women really think that "this guy will change for me" they never think..."maybe this guy really is just a bad person"

*shrugs*...some people change but that is usually because they mature as a person, not because they change for their s/o...

plus if she's cool with you being a dead beat dad for some other hoe why would he change his ways? that's basically like saying "I'm fine with you treating me like you did the other girl"

Oh I never disagreed with your initial post, it was an expected comment. We've both witnessed or at least heard of people who swear the man they're with who used to beat the last woman will be different with them because well, it's them. They are better than the last woman or whatever silly reasoning they come up with.

I was just pointing out how the woman herself can't play the victim role as she brought it upon herself and both of them are equally disgusting.

I also agree that many females will defend a brother until the very end and make excuses for him even when the cold, ugly, painful truth continues beating them over the head.

"I know I caught him cheating red handed, but maybe he slipped on her slipper floors, fell and slid right in *shrugs*"

Red flags and warnings continuously rise and yet they choose to remain blind.
